Our flag will be a signal to the community that a Veteran has fallen.
To pay special tribute to the sacrificial service of our community’s honored Veterans, Grace Gardens will fly the V.A.’s official 4’ x 8’ interment flag atop our 100 foot flag pole during funeral services for veterans ~ before carefully folding it and providing it to the family. This much reduced-size flag will replace our usual 30’ x 50’ flag signaling that a fellow American who protected our “broad stripes and bright stars through the perilous fight” has reached his or her final rest.
