Gretchen Linn

Gretchen Linn age 85 of Waco passed away at St Catherine Center December 1, 2009. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, December 8, at 10:30 am, at St. Matthias in Dallas.

Gretchen was born July 29, 1924 in Dallas Texas. She graduated from Sherman High School in Sherman Texas. She lived most of her life in Dallas.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Gordon Shaffer. She is survived by her second husband Donald Linn; by her two sons, David Shaffer and his wife Barbara and Michael Shaffer and his wife Mary Anne; two step children, David Linn and Beverley Keahey; a beloved grand-daughter Lauren Shaffer, eight step grandchildren, and seven step great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to the Providence Foundation in her memory. The family would also like to express special appreciation to the loving caregivers at Providence, the Village at Providence Park and the St. Catherine as well as to Dr. Darrell Pietsch and Mark Roberts, P.A.
