Allan Edgar Brueckner “AL”, age 74, of Lorena, Texas went to be with the Lord, Thursday, January 25,2024. Allan was born in Queen’s, New York to Alfred H. Brueckner and Doris G. Brueckner on April 19,1949.
Allan was an amazing man, with many traits and talents. Allan joined the United States Navy in June of 1968. He served till July of 1973. While serving he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal along with the Vietnam Service Medal. Allan loved his country. He was an avid car guy, new to old to anything that could be imagined. He raced on dirt tracks, drove demolition derby cars and just about anything that involved tires. He loved watching Nascar. Allan drove as he would call them Large cars (big rigs) for many years. Allan lived BIG in many ways. He loved big, dreamed big, and had big stories to tell. He loved his wife Alice of 26 years dearly. They were always together making many memories. He loved his kids and grandkids and was so proud of each one. He cherished every moment he got spending time with them. Anytime he could, he would take them out to the shop to show them his newest project and of course get them involved as well. Many hands have turned a wrench with Allan. Another hobby Allan enjoyed was train sets. The joy he had setting them up and watching them go around and around was priceless. He loved sharing his hobbies with anyone and everyone. Allan was saved years ago in Fort Worth, Texas, so rest assured we will all see him again one day when we are reunited in Heaven.
He is preceded in death by his sister Carolyn Brueckner and parents Alfred H. Brueckner and Doris G. Brueckner.
