Amber Alis (Parra) Townsend

Amber Townsend, joined the Lord in grace and took her first breath in Heaven on November 21, 2023, after a hard fought battle against cancer.  A visitation will be Sunday, November 26, 2023 from 5:00 to 7:00pm at Grace Gardens Funeral Home. A funeral service in her honor will be Monday, November 27, 2023 at 10:00am with a burial following at Oakwood Cemetery.

Amber was born on September 24, 1986, in Honolulu, Hawaii, Amber graduated from China Spring High School and went on to complete her beauty degree from Bella Beauty College. Amber was a woman of immense talent and she had a passion for making others feel beautiful.

Amber’s big personality and loving ways are something that touched so many people’s lives and left an imprint that will be remembered indefinitely. Described as quiet but bubbly, Amber had a personality that radiated joy and creativity. Her love for dance, beauty and faith have always been recognized by those closest to her and even those she most recently met. Amber’s passion was her children and she left them with the love and willingness to overcome obstacles that are out of our control, and most importantly she left the impact of Jesus Christ and his love.

Amber will be remembered not only for her extraordinary skills but also for the genuine care she showed for everyone she encountered. Her warm-hearted nature touched the lives of countless individuals who sought refuge in her chair or turned to her as a confidant.

In this time of grief, we remember Amber fondly as a cherished wife to Weston, and a loving mother to Reese, Django, Silas, and Asher, as a devoted daughter to Cherie, and a sister to Justin, Alaina, Alex and Samantha. Her family was the center of her world, and she brought that love and devotion into every aspect of her life.
Let us find solace in knowing that Amber's journey continues in a place where beauty transcends earthly boundaries. May her soul rest peacefully, forever surrounded by the vibrant colors of paradise.
