Barbara "Bobbie" Jo Crow was called home to heaven on March 30th 2024. Visitation will be 5-7pm, Tuesday, April 2, 2024. Funeral service will be 10am, Wednesday, April 3, 2024. Both will be at Grace Gardens Funeral Home. A private family interment will follow at Robinson Cemetery.
Nana Bobbie as she was lovingly called was born to Ima Virgie Franks and Marvin Whitley on March 28th 1943. Nana Bobbie graduated from China Spring high-school in 1961. She married George W. Crow and together they had two children. Jamey and Jenay. Nana Bobbie had numerous personnel jobs, was a sheriff deputy for McLennan County and retired from McLennan County Human Resources department after many years of service. She is survived by her Daughter Jenay and Husband Ricky Heckel of China Spring and son Jamey Crow. Granddaughters Keri Hunt and Husband Michael, Kayla Hobbs and husband Shane, Chelsea Thomas and Husband Tanner, Grandaughter Morgan Heckel, Ginny and Sam Castillo, Grandaughter Haleigh Crow, Grandson Colby Crow and girlfriend Kalli Robinette. Great Grandchildren Kenley, James, Lathan,Logan, Georgia, Mason and Lynlee. Sister Betty Smith and late Husband Billy Jo Smith. Nephew Jeff Smith, Niece Karen Wilson and husband Chris , Great nephew Jonathan Wilson and Great Niece Kendall Murphy and Husband Blake. And her two precious dogs Harley and Abigail.
She is preceded in death by her mother Ima, her father Marvin, her sister Shirley her cousin Danny and her cousin Wanda and Husband Calvin.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Heckel, Michael Hunt, Shane Hobbs, Tanner Thomas and Colby Crow.
Nana Bobbie will be remembered for her quick wit, her Fiesty personality and her extreme love for animals. A special thanks to her Bunco group and her friends at Heartis.
