Becky Breshers, a cherished mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on November 5,2025, in Waco, Texas. A visitation in her honor will be on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at Moldbreakers Fellowship beginning at 12:00pm with a memorial service following at 1:00pm.Born on June 15, 1956, in Brownfield, Texas, Becky lived a life filled with love, creativity, and dedication to her community.
Becky received her education at Brownfield High School, graduating with the class of 1975. For over 20 years, she devoted herself to serving others as a Cafeteria Manager at Waco Independent School District.
For 15 years, she served as a driving instructor at Austin Driving School, where her patience, kindness, and commitment touched more lives than she ever realized. Her guidance helped countless people achieve the independence of driving.
A member of Moldbreaker Fellowship Church in Waco, Becky found joy and purpose in her faith and the community there. She had a passion for painting and crafts, often expressing her creativity through her hobbies. Becky's love for cooking meant that she found great joy in preparing meals for her loved ones. She also cherished her time spent camping, rv trips, and gardening.
Becky is preceded in death by her beloved family members, W. V. Lasiter, Darlene (Rock) Lasiter, and her son-in-law Alex Reeves.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Misty Barnes and Shirley Reeves, and her adoring grandchildren: Ocena Barnes, James Barnes, Johnie Barnes, Asher Reeves, and Arianna Reeves, and her devoted sisters, Linda Riley (Bill), Kathy Hudnall, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Waco Christian Academy.
