Bobbie Jean (Sanders) Berry

Bobbie Jean Berry (89) passed away from this life on Friday, December 16, 2022, to go to be with her Lord and Savior. A Memorial Service will be 11am, Monday, December 26, 2022 at Timber Crest Baptist Church with Bro. Bill Swearingen officiating.

Bobbie Jean was born on June 19, 1933, to Walter and Pauline Sanders in Limestone County, Texas, at the home of her maternal grandparents, - Mr. & Mrs W.R. Carradine.

She attended Gurley Elementary School thru the 6th grade and then LaVega Schools through graduation in 1950, from LaVega High School where she met the love of her life, Finis A. Berry. Afterward, she also took a secretarial course at Four C Business College in Waco. After she and Finis married in 1951, they had four children and after they all started to school, Bobbie Jean went to work for Glenn L. Drennon Associates for the next 28 years until she retired in 1995. Finis and Bobbie Jean joined Timber Crest Baptist Church in 1955 and were active in the church. Bobbie Jean taught a Ladies SS class off and on for well over 45 years. Bobbie Jean loved to work in her yard and host numerous parties at her home. She also loved to travel and go on cruises and take each grandchild on a trip after they turned 14.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Finis A. Berry; her parents, Walter & Pauline Sanders; her sister-Billie Louise Berglund; sons-Dale A. Berry, Dean T. Berry, and grandsons Brian David Berry, Nathanial Ross Berry, and Zachary Keaton Berry.

Survivors include her oldest son, David Berry & wife Nancy of Waco; her daughter, Debra Money & husband Curtis of Waco; Grandchildren-Joshua Berry Lindsey Grant of McKinney, Jennifer Minter (Ron) of Burlington, KY & Kelly Money (Jennifer) of Waco; Great Grandchildren-Kayla Perry, Chrissy Minter, Angelo & Ariana Money, Jaxon, Eli & Opal Grant.

Family would like to express their thanks and gratitude for the nurses and doctors of The Atrium in Bellmead for taking great care of our mom. Also, many thanks to Texas Home Hospice for their wonderful and compassionate care.
