Brandon Joseph Benavidez, 26, passed away at his home, on January 23, 2026, following a courageous and hard-fought battle with colorectal cancer. A memorial visitation in his honor will be at 1:00pm, Saturday, February 7, 2026 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home with a memorial service following at 2:00pm.
Brandon was born on November 29, 1999, in Waco, Texas. He grew up with a love for the outdoors, spending his childhood playing outside with his sister and cousins. Whether he was riding around on his 4-wheeler or racing his go-cart, Brandon was happiest when he was on the move. He was a graduate of Midway High School.
Following graduation, Brandon began working for Industrial Rigging Service. As a Millwright, he had great work ethic and technical skill. Outside of work, Brandon was a true enthusiast of anything with an engine. He spent countless hours working on his truck, riding around listening to music, and going mudding with his cousins. Above all, he cherished the time spent hanging out with his family.
Brandon’s legacy is one of strength and devotion to those he loved. He is survived by his parents, Amanda and Carlos Benavidez; his sister, Lindsey Robinson, and her husband, Dylan; and his beloved niece, Charlie Robinson. He also leaves behind his grandparents, Sylvia Lopez, and Ralph and Josie Benavidez, as well as a large, loving circle of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Gloria Young; his grandfather, William Lester Young; his cousin, Bradly Woodcock; and his brother-in-law, Jason Westmoreland and his Uncle Joe Benavidez.
The family would like to extend a special and heartfelt thank you to the staff at Providence Hospice for their compassionate care and support during Brandon’s final journey.
