Brenda Kay (Meyer) Meadows

Waco, Texas

Brenda “Kay” Meyer Meadows, 71, of Waco, formally of Crawford, went to be with her Lord on March 27, 2020. Private services will be held for her immediate family.

Brenda Kay was born on March 12, 1949 to Ardine and Mary Pearl “Meador” Meyer and she had three brothers Jerry Joel Meyer, Larry William Meyer, and Don Ray Meyer. She attended Crawford High School where she was a cheerleader and a dedicated Crawford Pirate. She loved to do for others, make jewelry, and take care of her precious flowers. She was a member of the Women's Insurance Association and the First Baptist Church of Hewitt. Her favorite thing was keeping and doing for her grandchildren. She was always known to her grandkids as “Nana” and she wore that title proudly. She spent her spare time serving the elderly people in her community. She was a giver and she was dedicated to going above and beyond to help any and every one.

She was preceded in death by her parents Ardine and Mary Pearl Meyer, brothers Jerry Joel Meyer, Larry William Meyer, and Don Ray Meyer.

Survivors include a daughter, Kimberly Kay Whitehead and husband Joe of Speegleville, son Troy Dan Kimbrough and wife Robin of Stephenville; grandchildren Kayla Marie Whitehead and Lindsey Kaitlyn Whitehead, Karsyn Danielle Kimbrough and Kallan Luke Kimbrough.  Several nieces and nephews, cousins, and beloved friends.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Providence Hospice and all of the nurses for their care. Memorials may be made to Community Healthcare of Texas-Providence Hospice, 6700 Sanger Ave, Waco TX 76710
