Brian Golden

Brian Douglas Golden of Lorena, TX passed away unexpectedly at his home on Thursday May 22, 2025. Brian was a beloved husband, father, and friend who made a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.

A Celebration of Brian’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 31, 2025 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home, where we will gather to share stories and memories of Brian. The family will receive visitors from 10:00 a.m. until the service starts at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Oakwood Cemetery.

Brian was born November 3, 1962 in Waco, TX to S.T. (Tommy) and Dorothy McNutt Golden. He grew up in Woodway, attending school at Midway. He later followed in his dad’s footsteps and worked in the car business. BG was a true outdoorsman who’s passion was hunting and fishing. His greatest joy was sharing this passion with his family and friends. He made endless memories in places like South Dakota, Colorado, and Cabo always enjoying the challenge of a big hunt.

He leaves behind his beloved wife Rhonda Richter Golden who spent 36 wonderful years by Brian’s side. His children Lacey, Bradley, Jordan (Brett Haston), and Mason Golden. His grandchildren Casey and Olivia Ames and Brandt Haston. His mother Dorothy Golden, brother Sam Golden, and sisters Pam (Chico) Vasquez, and Phyllis (Marshall) Kyle, numerous nieces and nephews, and friends who have become family.

He was preceded in death by his father S.T. Golden and in-laws Ramona Richter and Andrew Richter.
