Brian Lee Scott, affectionately known as "Boga," passed away peacefully at his home in Riesel, Texas, surrounded by his loved ones on November 12, 2025. He was born on September 3, 1964, in Ponca City, Oklahoma, and lived a life characterized by laughter, camaraderie, and a deep love for his family.
Brian was a dedicated truck driver, whose career thrived through his work with various well-known companies, including Sherwin Williams, UPS, and FedEx. His passion for transportation was evident throughout his life, as he navigated the open roads with the same easy-going demeanor he brought to every facet of his life.
Known for his sarcastic wit and great sense of humor, Brian had a remarkable ability to brighten any room with his laughter. He cherished the moments spent with friends and family, engaging in hobbies such as gun collecting, playing video games, watching movies, and enjoying good times with those he loved. He was often found enjoying his favorite Diet Coke.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, Olga Sepeda; his daughter Christine Fulbright and her husband Jason; his granddaughter Shaely Heatherly; stepchildren Kristena Smolinsky and her husband Micah, and Jason Shockley. Brian also shared a strong bond with his sibling, James Faust and his wife Richelle; his sister-in-law, Greta Faust; his niece, Ashley Hebert; and his best friend, Eugene Moon.
Brian is preceded in death by his parents, Bill Scott and Marie Holman, and his brother, Robert Faust. The impact of Brian's presence will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him, as he immortalized the meaning of family and friendship in ways that will be cherished for generations.
A visitation in honor of Brian will be held at Grace Gardens Funeral Home & Crematorium in Woodway, Texas, on November 22, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, followed by a memorial service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. The family invites all who knew Brian to join in celebrating his life and sharing cherished memories.
