Brinda Kaye Fields, 67, of Eddy, was greeted by her parents in Heaven on Thursday, May 12, 2022. A Funeral Service will be 1 pm, Saturday, May 21st at Grace Gardens Funeral Home, with a visitation with the family beginning at 12 pm. Interment will follow at Waco Memorial Park.
Brinda Kaye Murphy Fields was born July 31, 1954 in Fort Worth, Texas to Burl and Bobbie Jo Murphy. She attended Waco schools until she met the love of her life and soul mate, William Darrell Fields. The couple were blessed with three children. As a young mother, she returned to school and obtained her cosmetology license and later an instructor’s license. She loved her years as an instructor at Vouge Beauty College. She was also the owner of two beauty salons, Savoir Hair, and Artistic Nails and Hair. Before retirement, she worked as the manager of the Salon at JC Penny’s.
Brinda was all about her family, often spending time with her beloved husband of fifty two years, Billy, from camping, shopping trips, to road trip to restaurants. She was a night owl and loved to be on the go. Her favorite stores were Marshalls, TJ Maxx, Costco, Sams, and Dillards to name a few. You would often find Billy “waiting outside” while she shopped. She was always up for a shopping trip with a loved one.
She never met a stranger and would visit with anyone. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Nan, Brin, or Blondie, what ever name you knew her by, you would never catch her out and about without her makeup and hair done with all her jewelry on.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and grandparents whom she dearly loved.
Left to carry on her legacy are her husband, Billy, son, Nicki and wife Lisa; daughter, Crystal Fields; son, Brian and wife Elizabeth; grandchildren, Taylor Driskell, Jessica Hughes and husband David, Meagan Pennington, Morgan Bryson and husband Josh, Ashlin Fields, Landon Fields and wife Faith, Madison Kimball and husband Kylar; great grandchildren, Brantley, Hudson, Emily, Waylon; brother, Blane Murphy; best friend, Janice Walling; and numerous nieces, nephews, dear friends, and special students.
