Callie Ann Bright

Callie Ann Bright passed away on February 13, 2026, at Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest Hospital.

Graveside services will be held at Old Sarepta Missionary Baptist Church in Sarepta, Louisiana, on Friday, February 20, 2026, at 12:00 noon. The service will be followed by a family visitation in the church Fellowship Hall.

She was born on December 22, 1950, in Delhi, Louisiana, to Ray and Adene Moore, and was the oldest of six children.

On September 30, 1969, she married Byron Bright, with whom she shared 56 years of marriage.

Through the years, she spent many hours sewing, crafting, cooking, and shopping. She enjoyed decorating, and her favorite color was red.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Adene Moore.

She is survived by her husband, Byron Bright; her children, Nikki Coull (Jay), Byron Bright Jr. (Christy), and Derek Bright (Laura); her grandchildren, Blakeley James, Ryan Coull, Ian Bright, Raven Bright, Max Bright, and Prior Bright; two great-grandchildren; her five siblings; and a wealth of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
