Calvin "Bubba" Raymond Rogers

Calvin Rogers of Waco passed away on Friday, August 12, 2022 in a car accident.  A visitation and prayer service will be held Sunday, August 21, 2022 from 2-4 PM at Grace Gardens Funeral Home.

Calvin was born on July 31, 1949 in Waco Texas to parents Bill and Irene Rogers. He enjoyed life to the fullest and never missed out on the chance to make a new friend. Calvin loved animals of any kind and always had a treat to spare. He spent his free time browsing estate sales, riding around on old back roads with his brother-in-law, Bill, and cooking for his mother whom he adored.

One of his favorite sayings was, “I could talk my way around the world, but I could never get back”.

He was proceeded in death by Bill Rogers (father). Survivors include his mother, Irene Rogers; sister, Diane Kevil and husband Bill; daughter, Shelli Ferris, and husband Andrew and their two children, Makayla Ferris and husband Jason Conners and Eli Ferris; his son Austin Rogers, and wife Amanda and their son, Tiberius Rogers; niece Lisa Kevil; and nephews, Jason Kevil and Brian Kevil.
