Daniel Shane Coker, Jr. passed into the arms of the Lord on July 8, 2023 after a fatal car accident. A visitation will be from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, Friday July 14, 2023 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home. A funeral service will be at 1:00pm, Saturday, July 15, 2023 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home with an interment following at Moore Cemetery in Chalk Bluff.

Daniel was born in Waco, Texas on August 14, 2019, to Rena Carol Whiteley and Daniel Shane Coker Sr. He was a ray of sunshine in his families lives. If you knew Daniel, you knew love. He was full of life and had a tender spirit and a contagious laugh. He had a way of bringing joy to anyone who ever met him and made such an impact in so many people's lives. Daniel was extremely gifted, he knew all his shapes, numbers, letters, colors, and could even spell his name. For such a young age, Daniel knew Jesus and knew Jesus was in his heart.

Daniel loved trains, he had many different train tracks and loved building them throughout every day. Daniel also loved marbles, Lego Duplo, and Paw Patrol. His favorite thing to do every morning was to go into his room, play with his many trains and watch his Paw Patrol videos. He also enjoyed catching roly-poly bugs. Daniel had an extreme fondness for McDonalds chicken nugget Happy Meals and Rosa’s rice and beans.

Daniel Shane Coker, Jr. entered Heaven alongside Brian White.

Daniel is survived by his mother, Rena Carol Whiteley of Lorena and father, Daniel Shane Coker, Sr. of Hewitt as well as his two brothers, Dru Woycheshin, Braxton Woycheshin, his sisters, Katelynn & Danielle Coker.

Also survived by grandmother, Brenice Bailey of Waco, grandfather, William Whiteley and wife Anna Whiteley of Cleburne, Aunt Jessica Cook, Uncle Jeremy Cook of Lorena, cousin, Hailey Gibson and husband Jonathan Gerik and daughter Paisley Gerik of Waco, cousin, Matthew Patterson and daughter Isla Patterson of Waco, Great Grandmother, Carol Stewart, Great Grandfather, Dave Stewart of Crawford.

He is also survived by his grandmother, Cynthia Coker and grandfather, Larey Coker, his great grandmother, Myra Ward, Uncle Jeff Jackson, Aunt Jennifer Coker Jackson, cousin, Selby Jackson, Uncle Christopher Coker, Sr. and cousins, Christopher Coker, Jr. and Leia Coker, and many other aunts, uncles, cousins and family.

Matthew 19:14  -  Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."
