Danny Wayne Blair, 78, passed away peacefully at his home on June 25, 2026.

Danny was born on August 11, 1947, in Oklahoma to Amon and Ruth Blair. He lived a life defined by hard work, unwavering faith, quiet strength, and a generous heart.

A man who found joy in the simple things, Danny loved cutting firewood, dove hunting in Prairie Hill, and working cattle on the family ranch in Bruceville. He enjoyed gathering around the domino table, throwing darts with family and friends, and creating treasured memories with his grandchildren, who brought him endless pride and happiness.

Professionally, Danny served as Sales Coordinator for Sturdisteel from the company's inception until his retirement. His dedication, integrity, and work ethic earned the respect of everyone who knew him.

Danny was a man of few words, but when he spoke, people listened. His words carried wisdom, sincerity, and purpose. His strong Christian faith guided the way he lived each day. He was humble, generous with the gifts God had given him, and always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He was a proud Mason and Shriner, faithfully serving others throughout his life.

Danny was preceded in death by his parents, Amon and Ruth Blair, and his sister, Vicki Burnett.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 40 years, Wanda Blair; sons, Scott Blair, Matt Blair and wife, Yan, and David Chandler; grandchildren, Shelby, Sandra, Olivia, Raylan, and Kelsey; great-grandchildren, Jenna, Aspen, and Ollin; brother, Dean Blair and wife, Pat; sister, Lisa Diamond and husband, Gary; brothers-in-law, Ben Frankum and Brian Frankum and wife, Susan; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many dear friends.

The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, June 29, 2026, at Grace Gardens Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at Lorena Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Scottish Rite in honor of Danny's lifelong commitment to service and charity.
