David Dean Eads, Jr., 69, of Waco, Texas, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, March 14, 2026. A service celebrating David’s life will be Monday, March 23, 2026, at Grace Gardens Funeral Home, officiated by Dr. Michael Simons and Dr. Tommy Frazier. Honorary Pallbearers and Grandsons will be Braden Frazier, Bryce Frazier, Christopher Galloway, Cooper Petty, Joshua Simons and Michael Simons II.
Born on July 10, 1956, in Waco, Texas, David spent his life rooted in his community. He graduated from University High School and went on to build a successful career as the owner of DTS Electronics, where he worked for more than 40 years. A certified electronics technician, David was known for his skill, dedication, and strong work ethic.
On January 16, 1984, David married the love of his life, Sharon Simons, in Waco. Their marriage was marked by deep devotion, partnership, and care for one another. Together they built a life centered on family, faith, and friendship. David loved Sharon faithfully and took great pride in providing for her and their family. The life they built together stands as a lasting testament to that love and commitment. They were devoted members of Moldbreaker Fellowship in Waco, where David valued both his relationship with God and his church family.
David is survived by his loving wife, Sharon Eads; and his children and their families: Thomas Frazier and wife Melissa, Shawnette Petty and husband Charles, Robert Galloway and wife Lyndsay, Christopher Eads and wife Stephanie, and Mark Booth. He was a proud grandfather to fifteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will miss him greatly.David will be remembered for his kindness and steady presence.
He leaves behind a legacy of hard work, faith, and devotion.The family would like to extend a special thank you to Gentiva Hospice and the many friends who supported and cared for David during his final days. They would also like to express their gratitude to Dr. James Lamb and his wife Lynn for their continued love and support.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Waco Christian Academy.
