Dennis Fagerberg Sr., beloved husband and father, passed away peacefully at home on December 18, 2025, at the age of 72.
Born on March 4, 1953, in Minneapolis, Minnesota in which he began a life defined by hard work, loyalty, and quiet skill. He proudly served as a Staff Sergeant in the USMC. He also pursued education at Imperial Valley College, earning an associate degree in Criminal Justice, as well as earning a teaching certification further demonstrating his commitment to service and learning. He spent his later working years as a truck driver, retiring after many years on the road.
A man of many talents, Dennis was a skilled laborer and mechanic, known for his ability to fix just about anything. He was also an excellent pool player, a pastime he enjoyed and excelled at. In his quieter moments, he found joy in fishing, traveling and he carried a fascination with slot machines, which reflected his love for simple pleasures and games of chance.
Dennis was a member of St. Jerome Church in Hewitt, Texas, where his faith remained an important part of his life.
He was preceded in death by his Son Dennis Jr., brother Kurt and sisters Linda, Irene, and Rose. He is survived by his loving wife, Delia, son, Omar, daughter, Isabella and his Grand-children Miya, Chloe, Orabell, and Iolaus who will forever cherish his guidance, strength, and unwavering presence.
Dennis will be remembered as a man who worked with his hands, lived with integrity, and loved his family deeply. His steady nature, practical wisdom, and quiet humor leave a lasting mark on all who knew him.
