Dewey Lynch Jr

Dewey Lynch Jr. age 88, of Waco passed away on Sunday October 14, 2012 at a local hospital. Private graveside services will be 2PM Wednesday at Moody Cemetery with Rev. Don Johnson officiating.

Dewey was born on April 1, 1924 in Stampede Valley just outside of Moody to Dewey and Flora Lynch. He lived in the Waco area for most of his life. He was retired from the Lone Star Gas Company of Dallas after 40 years of service.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Christine Mc Bride Lynch and his mother and father.

Dewey is survived by his son, David Alan Lynch and his wife Laura of Alexandria, Virginia; 2 granddaugters, Shannon Christine Altamura and husband Matt of Archdale, North Carolina and Kelly Kathleen Lynch of Lubbock, Texas; a great-granddaughter Rowan Isabella Altamura of Archdale; a brother Kenneth Lynch and wife Mildred of Moody and a sister Ruth Miller of Austin.
