Diana Danna

Diana Lynn Danna, 65, of Waco, passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2018. A celebration of her life will be 3 p.m. Sunday, January 28, 2018 at Central United Methodist Church with Pastor Bob Rainey officiating.

Diana was born June 21, 1952 to James Thomas and Cora Lee (Jackson) Shaw in Seminole, OK. Diana graduated from French High School in Beaumont and then attended Lamar University. Diana married the love of her life, Jerry Bender, in 1985. They were together for almost 30 years, before his passing in 2012. She loved to craft, create, and was an avid painter. Diana worked for Profiles International for 11 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Bender.

Diana is survived by her parents James and Cora Shaw; daughter, Angela Danna and husband, Ryan Blumberg; brothers, Art Shaw and wife, Brenda, and Ron Shaw and wife, Sharon; grandchildren, Destiny and Austyn Middleton, and Danica Johnson; nephew, Kyle Shaw; niece, Karen Shaw.

Diana will be dearly missed and was beloved by her family.
