Neva Dianne Taylor, a longtime resident of Waco, Texas, passed away October 1, 2026, leaving a legacy of hard work, entrepreneurship, and community dedication.
Born September 21, 1954, in Hillsboro, Texas, Dianne was the daughter of Loyd Milton “Tooter” Rose and Neva Christine “Chris” Rose.
Dianne dedicated 30 years to the Waco staffing industry, beginning as General Manager at Stone & Stone Employment Services (1986–1991), followed by Senior Manager at Total Placement Personnel Services (1991–1998). Driven by her entrepreneurial spirit and passion for helping others, she founded Taylor Staffing Services in October 1998. She proudly operated her agency for 18 years until retiring in October 2016. Through determination and dedication, she earned the respect of local employers and job seekers alike. A special highlight was the 15 years spent working alongside her niece, Amy Shilling Knight, creating a welcoming, family-centered environment.
Dianne was truly one of a kind. Particular, passionate, strong-willed, and never afraid to do things her own way, she gave her whole heart to everything that mattered. Her determination, independent spirit, and genuine love for those around her made her unforgettable. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Dianne found her greatest happiness in time spent with family and her beloved animals, who held a special place in her heart.
Her strength, devotion, and countless cherished memories will live on through those who loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Loyd “Tooter” Rose and Neva “Chris” Rose.
Dianne’s memory will be cherished by her son, Chris Taylor; granddaughters, Jordyn, husband James, and Jenna; sister, Carolynn Shilling, husband Tom; nieces, Amy Shilling-
Knight and Ashley Miles husband Ryan; great-nieces, Macey Ramos, husband Braxton, and Amity Shilling; and lifelong best friend, Deborah Pierce.
