Donald Howard Antis

Donald “Don” Howard Antis, age 78, passed away on Monday, March 2, 2026, at Caydance Assisted Living in Katy, Texas.

Don was the devoted husband of the late Claudia Antis for 55 years. The two met in 1965 while working at the Travelers Insurance Company, beginning a lifetime of partnership.

A proud veteran, Don served in the United States Army in Korea from 1968 to 1969. Following his service, he dedicated 40 years to healing others as a Physical Therapist. After tenures at Hillcrest Hospital and Waco Rehab, he fulfilled a professional dream by opening his own practice, Bosque River Physical Therapy.

Don was a lifelong learner, graduating from the University of South Carolina before earning his Master’s degree from Southwest Texas State University. While he remained a loyal South Carolina alumnus, he was an unwavering fan of Texas A&M football and his hometown Pittsburgh Steelers. In his free time, he enjoyed golf, basketball, traveling, and above all, being with his family.

Don is survived by his only son, Jason Antis, and daughter-in-law, Sema; his three grandchildren, Emily (22), Jacob (19), and Noah (6); and his sister, Sally of Pittsburgh.

A graveside service with military honors will be held at:
