Dorris Dean (Rice) Staats

Dorris Staats of Clifton, Texas, passed away peacefully, Friday, January 21, 2022.  A graveside service will be 3:00pm Tuesday, January 25, at Clifton Memorial Park Cemetery with Brother Carroll Hambrick officiating.

Dorris grew up in Callaway County, Missouri.  She worked for the state of Missouri for twenty years.

She loved quilting, gardening, and playing canasta, but most of all her family.  Dorris will be dearly missed and always remembered.

Dorris is preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Birdie Rice; brothers, Bob and Pete Rice; sister, Shirley Gene Jordan.

She is survived by her loving husband, Billy Staats; son, Perry Staats; daughter, Kelly Sue Campbell and husband Rollin; grandsons, Colby and Avery; sister, Henrietta Cave; and numerous nieces and newphews.
