Dylan Bondeson of Hewitt, Texas, left this world too soon on October 12, 2025. Born in Waco, Texas, on October 3, 2000, he brought light and laughter into the lives of everyone he encountered. Dylan was a loving father, a cherished son, and a loyal friend, leaving behind a legacy filled with joy, laughter, and a passion for life.
Dylan cherished his role as a father to his beloved daughter, Delilah Bondeson. He was an amazing father who devoted himself to making her smile and sharing unforgettable moments that will forever be etched in her heart. His goofy, sarcastic personality and playful spirit created an atmosphere of warmth and happiness, a testament to the love he so freely gave.
After attending Midway High School, Dylan pursued a career at overhead door supply as a technician, where his mechanical skills shone brightly. The thrill of working on and riding or driving ATV's, motorcycles and cars filled him with joy, and he often found solace and excitement in repairing and customizing vehicles, a Bondeson family trait. Beyond his career, Dylan embraced his passion for gaming, dedicating countless hours to adventures that connected him with friends and family alike.
Dylan's personality was truly one of a kind; he had an innate ability to make others laugh and bring smiles to their faces. Known for his light-hearted demeanor and whimsical pranks, he made even the dullest moments feel vibrant and full of life. His friends and family could always expect a hearty laugh or a clever joke whenever they were with him.
He is survived by his loving daughter Delilah Bondeson, mother Lindsay Bondeson, father Troy Douglas, and his siblings, Aliyah and Abigail. Dylan held a special place in the hearts of his grandmothers, Lynn Bondeson, Pat Hiers, and Alice Douglas and enjoyed close relationships with his uncles, Donny Bondeson and his wife Katy, and James Bondeson, Daniel Douglas, Stephen Douglas along with his aunts Wenona Sublett and Amanda Kilpatrick. Joleen Kuhn, with whom he shared two beautiful daughters. Bill Kuhn, a wonderful father figure to Dylan. Dylan leaves behind a multitude of cousins and friends whose lives were enriched by his presence.
Though his heart was heavy with the loss of his daughter, Arabella Rose Bondeson, and he grieved the absence of his grandfathers, Donald Bondeson and Troy Douglas, Sr., and his uncle, Joseph Bondeson, Dylan continued to radiate love and light into the world around him.
A visitation will be held for Dylan at Grace Gardens Funeral Home & Crematorium in Woodway, Texas, on October 18, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM, followed by a funeral service at 10:30 AM to celebrate the remarkable life he lived. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by his infectious laughter and kind spirit are invited to come together to honor his memory and share in the love that he so generously brought to every moment. A private family burial will be at a later date.
Dylan's spirit will live on in the stories shared by those who loved him most. He will be profoundly missed but forever remembered for his humor, his passion, and the endless love he shared.
