Edward Wayne Terry, 81, of Waco, Texas, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2026, following a brief illness. A funeral service will be 10 am, Monday, June 29, 2026 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home. with burial following in Riesel Cemetery. A visitation with the family will be 5-7pm, Sunday, June 28, 2026 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home.

Ed was born on July 19, 1944, in Waco, Texas. A lifelong resident of the community he loved, he built a life centered on faith, family, hard work, and friendships.

He was preceded in death by his children, Michelle Suzanne Terry and Clark Edward Terry.

Ed is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Marilyn Sue Denman Terry; his brother, Larry Terry and wife, Reba; his brother-in-law, Deck Denman and wife, Brenda; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will cherish his memory.

Ed dedicated 35 years of service to C-T Waco Federal Credit Union, where his strong work ethic and leadership allowed him to work his way up to the position of Manager. Even after retirement, he continued serving others as a Senior Loan Officer with Baylor's First University Credit Union, where he enjoyed helping members with their financial needs.

He had a lifelong interest in investing and was always eager to share financial advice with anyone willing to listen. Ed also enjoyed researching genealogy, collecting a variety of treasures, and preserving family history. A devoted supporter of the Mart Panthers, he rarely missed an opportunity to cheer them on in person and took great pride in following their success.

A faithful, lifelong member of the Church of Christ, Ed lived a life guided by his Christian faith. He was known for his quick wit, sharp sense of humor, and the ability to make those around him smile. Above all, he was a devoted husband whose love and steadfast commitment to Marilyn were evident throughout their 58 years of marriage.

The family extends their heartfelt appreciation to the nurses and staff at Providence Hospital for the compassionate care and kindness shown to Ed during his illness.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice in Ed's memory.

Ed's legacy of faith, laughter, wisdom, and unwavering love for his family will be treasured by all who knew him.
