Ellis Jon Simcox

Ellis Jon Simcox was born on Thursday, October 2nd, and entered the arms of Jesus just a few minutes later. Though his time on earth was brief, Ellis was deeply loved by his parents, siblings, grandparents, aunts and uncles, cousins, and family friends. Although Ellis faced many medical challenges in his life, every moment with him was a gift, and his life was marked by love. 

Ellis is survived by his parents, Stephen and Cristen Simcox; siblings Bradley, Abby, Sawyer, and TJ; grandparents Chris and Stacy Nelson and Mike and Debbie Simcox; great-grandmothers Joyce Smith and Dot Nelson; uncles and aunts Ruston and Stephanie Thompson, Daryl and Kami Nelson, and Blake and Caiti Jones; and cousins Lexi, Avery, Levi, Jackson, Keaton, Maddie, Harper, and Ellie. 

He was preceded in death by his brother Elliott Simcox, along with his great-grandparents Herman and Patsy Fitzhugh, Travis Smith, Pat Nelson, and Katie Atwood and great-grandparentes Kenneth and Jackie Simcox.

The family is deeply grateful to the team at Baylor Scott and White Hillcrest Hospital for their compassionate care and to their church family, life group, friends and family for surrounding them with love during this difficult season.
