Gary Don Blake

Gary Don Blake, age 74, was born on May 9, 1951, to C.F. and Norma Jean Blake in Waco, Texas. He was welcomed into the arms of his Lord and Savior on April 24, 2026.

Gary graduated from McGregor High School class of 69. Gary spent much of his life in the Austin, Texas and Boulder, Colorado areas before retiring to the Moody/McGregor area. He had a deep love for fishing, playing his guitar, reading, and especially studying his Bible.Gary had a generous heart and a strong desire to help others, and he was actively involved in various churches and organizations throughout his life, wherever he lived.

In his final days, Gary fulfilled a heartfelt wish to return to McGregor—a goal he achieved just days before his passing.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, C.F. Blake and Norma Jean Blake.He is survived by his son, Brian Keith Blake; his sister, Joan Blake Wright and her husband, Mike; his nephew, Greg Wright; and his niece, Courtney Jones and husband Callen, great niece and nephew Callie and Cash Jones.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
