George is survived by his beloved wife, Lou Anne, whose companionship was a guiding force in his life. Together, they raised three children: Leslie Glaviano and her husband Brandon, George Damitz, and Jennifer Damitz. He also leaves behind siblings Patricia Damitz, Marion Miedle, Jim Damitz, Joe Damitz, and Barbara Patton, each of whom held a special place in his heart.
