Harold Seay, 91, of Elm Mott, Texas, passed away on August 8, 2026. He was born on August 4, 1935, to Losa and Hugh Seay.

Harold proudly served his country in the United States Air Force from 1955 to 1961. After his military service, he spent 28 years serving his community as a Waco firefighter, where he eventually retired.

Harold loved the simple things in life—fishing, dancing, spending time with his family, and making memories with the people he cared about.

He also had a very special companion in his beloved dog, Miss Molly, who brought him a lot of comfort and company over the years.

Harold is survived by his son, Chad Williams, and his wife, Josie, of Elm Mott, Texas; his niece, Judy Ann Seay and his nephews, Jerry and Ricky Seay; his grandchildren Corey Williams, Jessica Raborn, Paula Miramontez, and Brandi Bloom; as well as his other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, extended family, and many dear friends.

He is also survived by his best friend, Tim Knight of Coolidge, Texas, who was like a son to him.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Losa and Huegh Seay, and his brother, Harry Seay.

The family would like to give a very special thank-you to his great granddaughter, Kilie, for all the love, kindness, and care she gave Harold. Her time, compassion, and dedication meant so much to him and to the entire family.

Harold leaves behind a lifetime of memories, stories, laughter, and love. His service to his country and his community will always be remembered. Most of all, he will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great-grandfather, friend, and loyal companion to Miss Molly.

Rest peacefully, Harold. You will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.

Graveside service will be 11 am, Thursday, August 13th at Oakwood Cemetery in Waco, Texas.
