Ida Marie Hefley

Ida Marie Harden Hefley, age 99, passed away peacefully at home on January 17, 2026, in Hewitt, Texas.

Ida was born on September 11, 1926, in Russellville, Arkansas. She attended high school and later devoted her life to her family and home as a homemaker, a role she carried out with quiet strength, dedication, and love.

On February 14, 1948, Ida married Athel Hefley in Alameda, California. Together they shared many years of marriage and ministry. Ida was a faithful servant of the Lord and an active member of the Church of Christ. She recently attended Crestview Church of Christ and previously attended Woodward Park Church of Christ in Fresno, California. She served the church as a Bible class teacher and supported her husband in his work as an elder and in ministry efforts, including their involvement in the Laotian ministry.

Ida was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Athel Hefley; her son, Randy; three sisters; and two brothers.

She is survived by her three sons, Mike Hefley, Darrell Hefley, and Patrick Hefley; one daughter, Raelynn Aziz; twelve grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren, all of whom will cherish her memory and the legacy of faith she leaves behind.

No services are planned at this time.
