With broken hearts, we announce the tragic passing of our beloved son, Jeffrey Williams, on Thursday, October 1, 2026.

Jeffrey was born on May 10, 1986, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Marvin Sr. and Phyllis Williams.

Jeffrey graduated from Central Texas College with an associate degree focused on mathematics. He loved to challenge people, especially his family, with his math problems. Although he excelled in mathematics, his true passion lay in physical fitness. He became a certified personal trainer and thrived at Gold’s Gym, where his personal touch and genuine sincerity shone through in his work with clients.

Those who knew Jeffrey well recognized his dedication to fitness and his love of working out. Known affectionately as Jeff, he led by example through his strong work ethic. Before and after his personal training sessions, he worked at an Amazon distribution center and drove for Uber whenever the opportunity arose. Jeff was always on the go—it seemed the only time he took a break from working was when his favorite football teams were playing.

Beyond his passion for fitness, Jeffrey had a lifelong love of sports, especially football. A devoted fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Wisconsin Badgers, he proudly wore his team apparel to show his support. He never missed a chance to watch the Badgers or Steelers play. Red was his favorite color, making his Badgers attire especially fitting. His team pride was a familiar and beloved part of who he was.

Football also inspired a friendly rivalry in the Williams family. While Jeffrey cheered for the Steelers, his older brother, Marvin Jr., supported the Green Bay Packers, and his dad, Marvin, is a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan. Their loyalties may have differed, but their shared love of the game brought a spirited, competitive touch to a cherished family tradition.

Music held a special place in Jeffrey’s heart. He loved attending concerts with family and friends, sharing not only the music he loved but also precious time together. Rap was his favorite genre, with J. Cole and Kendrick Lamar among his favorite artists. The memories of those concerts and the time spent together will remain close to his loved ones’ hearts.

Jeffrey was a kind, compassionate soul, always willing to help someone in need and give them the shirt off his back. He had a wonderful sense of humor and a beautiful smile that drew everyone in. To his nieces and nephews, he was the best uncle, showing up for their games and activities and being present for the moments that mattered. His generosity, dedication, and love for his family will forever be remembered.

Jeffrey was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents and his paternal grandfather.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Marvin Sr. and Phyllis Williams; his older brother, Marvin Williams Jr., and his wife, Falina Williams, and their three children, Gabrielle (15), Marvin III (9), and Madison (6); his younger sister, Alicia Wright, and her husband, Stevion Wright, and their two children, Stevion Jr. (8) and Soraya (7); his grandmother, Edna Posey; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and others in his circle who reside in Texas, Wisconsin, and Arizona.

Jeffrey will be deeply missed and forever held in the hearts of those who love him. His kindness, generous spirit, and devotion to his family have left a lasting legacy in the lives he touched. We will carry his memory with us in everyday moments, in the excitement of a football game, and in the family gatherings where his absence will be deeply felt. Though our time with him was far too short, the love we shared will remain. He will always be our beloved son, brother, grandson, uncle, and friend—deeply loved, never forgotten, and forever part of us.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made directly to the Williams family in loving memory of Jeffrey.
