Jerry Robert Brown, age 56 of China Spring, has left this life for a better one in heaven. He passed away on Monday, June 29, 2009 at his residence. A brief memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday July 2, 2009 at the Grace Gardens Funeral Home Chapel.
Jerry was born in Waco on March 19, 1953. He worked for 8 years in Houston at Reed Tool Co. as a welder before returning to Waco to make chocolate candy at M&M Mars until he retired after 25 years. He will truly be missed by all of his family and friends. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Billy Ray Brown
Jerry is survived by his daughter, Kristen Brown; his best friend, Lori Brown; four sisters, Betty Russell and husband Gene of Waco, Nancy Kidwell and husband Dennis of Waco, Grace Stephens of Waco, and Patsy Eilers and husband Leslie of Channelview; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; his next best friend, Ron Frase and wife Barbara, and good friend, Kathy Brown and daughter, Kathlene
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be made in Jerry’s name to Providence Hospice, 4830 Lakewood Drive, #2, Waco, Texas 76710 or to your favorite charity.
