After his honorable service, Jerry embraced the life he loved most - country living. He was a man of the land, a farmer through and through. In 2010, he embarked on entrepreneurship, opening his own business, Diamond J Gator Service, as a fertilizer equipment mechanic, showcasing his determination and work ethic.

In July 2001, Jerry married the love of his life, Cindy Walker, and together they built a beautiful life filled with love and laughter. Jerry was a devoted husband, with Cindy always by his side, sharing in life's joys and challenges. Their union was a demonstration to the strength of their love.

Jerry's family was his pride and joy. He was a loving father to his three sons: Brandon Jester and wife Buffy, Justin Jester and wife Kelli, James Walker and wife Sarah. His role as "Papaw" brought boundless happiness to his life, and he treasured every moment spent with his beloved grandchildren: Jaxson, Kinsley, Kerrington, Gracie, and Kadence.

Jerry's warm and generous spirit extended beyond his immediate family. He was a beloved brother to Jackie Jester, Judy Fry, and Larry Jester. His sense of humor and kindness knew no bounds, and numerous nieces, nephews, and family members adored him.

Jerry Dean Jester was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Ruby Jester, father-in-law Joe Mcintosh, niece Ranae Short, brother-in-law Frank Fry, and one grandchild.
