In loving memory of our beloved father, husband, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, Jimmy Arroyo.
It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness that we share the passing of our beloved Jimmy Arroyo, who left this world on July 17, 2026. His departure leaves an immeasurable void in the lives of all who knew and loved him, but his memory will remain a lasting source of comfort, strength, and love.
Jimmy was born on September 11, 1957, in Harlingen, Texas. He lived a life filled with love, purpose, and devotion to those around him. Throughout his journey, he touched countless lives with his kindness, wisdom, warm heart, and infectious laughter.
As a devoted husband and father, Jimmy cherished his family above all else. He is survived by his loving wife, Arlene Arroyo, his high school sweetheart, with whom he built a beautiful legacy of love and devotion. He also leaves behind his three children, Arlene Cojulun, Jimmy Arroyo Jr., and Jonathan Arroyo, who were his pride and joy; his eight grandchildren, Meredith Mata, Bailie Pacheco, Nicholas Castilleja, Malakai Jones, Elijah Arroyo, Jordan Arroyo, Jeremiah Arroyo, and Zoe Arroyo; and his nine beloved siblings, Sylvia Romero, Robert Arroyo, Jose Arroyo, Pedro Arroyo, David Arroyo, Philip Arroyo, Moses Arroyo, Christal Arroyo, and Margarita Arroyo.
Jimmy had many passions in life, including music and, most importantly, being present for his family and friends. He was someone others could count on, and his love, guidance, and example will continue to inspire future generations to work hard, remain strong, and reach for the stars.
As we remember Jimmy, we honor the vibrant spirit, generous heart, and lasting love he shared so freely. A funeral service celebrating Jimmy Arroyo’s life will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Gardens Funeral Home & Crematorium, located at 8200 Woodway Drive, Woodway, TX 76712. Friends and family are invited to attend and pay their respects.
Rest in peace, dear Jimmy. Your love, laughter, and memory will live on in our hearts forever.
