Jose Manuel Carrillo Melendez, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away on January 4, 2026, in San Antonio, Texas. Born on July 25, 1951, in the quaint town of Villanueva Zacatecas, Jose’s journey through life was marked by his unwavering dedication to family and work.

A proud welder at Time Manufacturing, Jose was known for his quiet demeanor and stubborn determination. Though he often kept his thoughts to himself, he wore his love for his family openly and unconditionally. He adored his grandchildren and great grandchildren and took immense joy in being a part of their lives, sharing every milestone with quiet pride. He always went the extra mile to care for his family in any way he could.

Jose found solace and strength in his hobbies, particularly in the simple bliss of baseball and the comforting embrace of his faith. He regularly attended services at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, where he nurtured his spirituality within a warm community.

He leaves behind his beloved wife, Perfecta, who stood by his side through thick and thin, sharing countless memories and a deep bond that can only be borne from years of togetherness. Jose is also survived by four great-grandchildren, who will be touched by the tales of their great-grandfather's quiet strength and unwavering love.

Though he may no longer grace the earth with his presence, Jose Manuel Carrillo Melendez's legacy will resonate through laughter, shared family gatherings, and the continuing stories of love, determination, and faith instilled in those he held dear.
