It is with deep love and sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Juanita Jackson, who departed this life into Glory on July 30, 2025, in Hewitt, Texas. A visitation will be at 5:00pm, Friday, August 8, 2025, at Grace Gardens Funeral Home. A service in celebration of her life will be held on August 9, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Grace Gardens Funeral Home.

Juanita was born on February 26, 1952, in Waco, Texas, to Calvin Harris and Lovie Lee Carter. Her life was rooted in faith, family, and a passion for caring for others.She studied Healthcare Administration at the University of Phoenix and worked in the medical field as well as with SJJ Logistics. 

On August 23, 2006, Juanita married Sever Junior Jackson in Waco, Texas. Their loving union was a beautiful partnership that brought joy to both their lives. Juanita was active in her community through the Chamber of Commerce of Robinson and the Hewitt Chamber of Commerce. 

She was a faithful member of Hewitt Community Church, where she found comfort, community, and purpose in worship.She especially loved attending church and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy to her heart.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her devoted husband, Sever Jackson; her son, Christopher Holder, Sr. (Cassandra); daughter, Dethera McGee (Elvis), her grandchildren: Shatana Landrum, Aveaon Anderson, Alicia Cooper (Fontaine), Kyanna Landrum, Kyondris Landrum, Patrick Bradley, Sr. (Harley), and Chris Holder, Jr.; her sister Wanda King; nephew, Antonio Harris, and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

She was preceded in death by: Her parents, Lovie Spratt and Calvin Harris;brothers, Ray Harris, Calvis Harris, Jr., and Curtis Harris, and niece, Lawand Harris.

The family would like to extend special thanks to caregiver Shavis Floyd, Aunt Lucy, Aunt Barbara, and the members of Hewitt Community Church for their love, prayers, and support during this time.
