June Delaine Stinson, 72, of Waco, Texas, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at Hewitt Nursing and Rehabilitation Center surrounded by the love and care of those who knew her best.

Born on June 16, 1954, in Waco, Texas, June was the beloved daughter of Thelbert and Estelle Rosser. She was raised in Waco, where she attended local schools and graduated from Richfield High School in 1972. Waco remained her home throughout her life, and it was there that she built lasting friendships, shared countless memories, and made a meaningful impact on her community.

June's greatest joy in life was her family. She became the proud mother of her son, Kevin, in April 1981 and her daughter, Jennifer, in January 1984. She devoted herself wholeheartedly to her children, always providing unwavering love, encouragement, and support. Later, becoming a grandmother brought her even greater happiness. Her grandchildren, A.J. and Isabella, held a special place in her heart, and she treasured every opportunity to spend time with them, celebrating milestones, sharing traditions, and creating cherished memories.

For many years, June faithfully served at the Columbus Avenue Baptist Church Daycare Center. Through her work, she touched the lives of countless children and families with her kindness, patience, and nurturing spirit. She found great fulfillment in caring for others and was known for her warm smile, gentle nature, and genuine compassion. After a long and rewarding career, she retired in 2019, leaving behind a legacy of love and service.

June was a devoted member of Columbus Avenue Baptist Church and was guided by her strong Christian faith throughout her life. Her faith was evident in the way she treated others—with grace, kindness, and a servant’s heart. She found joy in simple pleasures, especially spending time with family during holidays and special gatherings. Whether preparing for Christmas, enjoying a family meal, or simply being surrounded by loved ones, June treasured the moments that brought her family together.

Those who knew June will remember her as a loving mother, devoted grandmother, cherished sister, loyal friend, and caring partner. Her gentle spirit, generous heart, and steadfast love for her family left an enduring impression on everyone who was blessed to know her.

June was preceded in death by her parents, Thelbert and Estelle Rosser, and her infant twin daughters in 1979.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her special friend and longtime partner, Wayne Butler of Hewitt; her son, Kevin Stinson of Waco; her daughter, Jennifer Stinson of Cornelius, North Carolina; her beloved grandchildren, A.J. and Isabella Stinson; her sisters, Janice Blackburn of Waco, and Phyllis Orand and husband Mike of Waco; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.

Though her presence will be deeply missed, the love she shared, the lives she touched, and the memories she created will remain in the hearts of her family and friends forever.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that memorial contributions be made to the Baylor Scott & White Kidney Center in honor of June's memory.
