Education played a significant role in Karon's life. She attended Hamilton High School where she was in the band and served as drum major before becoming one of the first cheerleaders at McLennan Community College. Her thirst for knowledge led her to further her studies at TCU.

In addition to her professional endeavors, Karon embraced various hobbies and interests that brought her joy. She found solace in the outdoors, whether she was running, fishing, or riding as a passenger with her husband on a motorcycle. An avid sports enthusiast, Karon enthusiastically supported all Baylor Bear teams.

Karon will be fondly remembered for her outgoing and friendly nature. To know her was to love her, as she radiated positivity and warmth wherever she went. Her adventurous spirit made every moment spent with her enjoyable and memorable.

Among Karon's proudest accomplishments was being a devoted Christian who found fulfillment in working for the church. Karon was inseparable from her beloved husband Cecil (Butch) Glass. Through thick and thin, they stood side by side - doing everything as a couple.
