August 9, 1938 — December 8, 2021

Waco, Texas

Kenneth (Kenny) William Frazier, 83, of Waco, passed away on December 8, 2021 at his home. He suffered a stroke in January 2020 and had been in failing health.  Memorial Service will be 1pm, Wednesday, December 15 at First Presbyterian Church of Waco.

Kenneth was born August 9, 1938 in Waco to Ammon F. and Lilla Eva Frazier. He grew up in Waco and attended Waco schools. Kenneth spent many years touring with several bands and upon his return to Waco, he married Elouise Glenn on March 18, 1967.

For 24 years he was the guitar instructor for McLennan Community College’s commercial music program. During these years he taught numerous students at school and in his private studio at home. Further, Kenneth was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Waco where he served as a deacon.

He loved playing guitar with some of his favorite musicians. However, his greater love was his students and watching them flourish. He still had contact from time to time with a good number of them.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Elouise; daughters Laura Haigood and husband Bill, and Julie Frazier; son Blake Frazier and fiancée Millisa Verbic. He also leaves behind five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be donated to First Presbyterian Church of Waco or McLennan Community College Commercial Music Program.

Masks are required in the sanctuary.
