Leila Lila (Rahl) Clark died Saturday, August 15th, 2026 at Baylor Scott & White Hospital.

The Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, August 20th, 5:00pm-7:00pm at Grace Garden’s Funeral Home & Crematorium.

Leila was born on December 8th, 1948 in San Saba, Texas. She spent her childhood in Goldthwaite, Texas before attending the Hillcrest School of Nursing in Waco, Texas.

She graduated from Nursing School on May 14th, 1971, then married Jimmy Charles Clark on May 15th, 1971.

She worked as a nurse at the old Providence Hospital in Waco before leaving to join McLennan Community College as a Licensed Vocational Nursing Instructor. She eventually became the Program Director of the Vocational Nursing Program. Whilst being Program Director she acted as an advisor for the Nursing Program before later moving to advising only. She taught and advised many students before retiring in 2017.
