Leta Norene (Guthrie) Karsten

Leta Nornen Guthrie Karsten, 95, passed away peacefully Sunday, November 19, 2023.  A burial will be in Mound City, Missouri at a later date.

Leta was born November 30, 1927 in Napier, Missouri.  She grew up in Missouri.  She was a bank teller in St. Joseph, Missouri.

She was an awesome woman, mother, grandmother, granny, daughter, wife, aunt, and friend to many.  She would have been 96 on November 30.  She lived life to the fullest.  She just took a trip to Winstar in Oklahoma to celebrate her late daughter's birthday. She will be greatly missed.

She is preceeded in death by her beloved husband; daughter, and parents.

Left to cherish her memories are her duaghter, Rita Howard; and numerous grandchildren.
