It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Linda Martinez, whose brilliant light was dimmed too soon on October 10, 2025, in Golinda, Texas. Born on August 23, 1967, in Hereford, Texas, Linda's journey was but a brief yet radiant tapestry woven from laughter, love, and an unwavering faith.

Linda's spirit was undeniably vibrant. A true "life of the party," she captivated all within her orbit with her infectious humor and bounding energy. Often dubbed the "selfie queen," she thrived in moments that brought joy, her goofy antics a testament to a heartfelt engagement with life. To know Linda was to be enveloped in her warmth; she was a warrior in both strength and kindness, a nurturing presence whose arms embraced both family and friends alike.

Professionally, Linda found her calling in childcare, dedicating her nurturing instincts to the children of the YMCA. Later, she soared to new heights as a Quality Control Specialist, showcasing her commitment to excellence and care in every endeavor.

A fierce follower of her faith, Linda’s spirituality was foundational to her identity. She recently embraced her journey as a disciple, taking strides in her faith that illuminated her path. Her powerful belief system anchored her, grounding her in trials while lifting her spirit during joy-filled moments.

In her personal life, Linda cherished time spent outdoors, where the simple act of sharing family dinners thrilled her soul. Her superpower was evident in the amazing homemade tortillas and rice she crafted, often with love and laughter shared over the dinner table. Not one to keep goodness to herself, she adored making others laugh which made her truly remarkable.

Linda leaves behind her significant other, Miguel Martinez; mother, Isabel Martinez and husband Polo Velasco; brothers, Duke Martinez and wife Rose, Leonard Martinez and wife Liliana; sisters, Sandra Martinez and husband Samuel Mata, Nicole Chavez and father of her children Pedro Rodriguez, Mercedes Stovall and husband Bradley. Her beloved children, Mariali Ramos and husband Eddie, Nayeli Castaneda and her significant other Jacob, and her cherished grandchild, Damion Bryant, will carry her legacy forward alongside a multitude of nieces, nephews, and those she lovingly claimed as family. Additionally, her many fur baby grandchildren will forever remember the love she showed them.

Preceded in death by her father, Gabriel Martinez, and her son Ariell Castaneda.

As the world feels the void left by Linda’s departure, we also celebrate the unforgettable marks she has left on our lives. May her vibrant spirit continue to inspire laughter, love, and kindness, living on in those who were fortunate enough to know her.
