Linda Blackburn Russell, age 75, passed away peacefully after a life marked by love, devotion to family, and deep Catholic faith. She was born on September 28, 1950, in Waco, Texas, and was raised in the Catholic tradition that guided her throughout her life.
Linda was known for her caring heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering devotion to those she loved. Her faith was a source of strength and comfort, reflected in her compassion for others, her humility, and her life of quiet grace. She found joy in life’s simple blessings and in the time she shared with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, her mother, Estelle Marie Seith Blackburn, and her father, Edwin E. Blackburn.
She is survived by her sister, Debbie Webb, and Billy Hoover; her brother, DeWayne Blackburn; her niece, Lynette Conlan and husband Hampton Conlan; her nephews, Sammy Webb and wife Delana Webb, Wayne Blackburn and wife Jennifer Blackburn, Weston Blackburn, and Bobby Blackburn and wife Taylor Blackburn; her great-nephews, Sterling Webb, Houston Webb, Hudson Conlan, Brendon Blackburn, Tristyn Blackburn, and Carson Blackburn; and her great-nieces, Steele Blackburn and Mackie Blackburn.
Linda will be remembered as a loving woman whose life reflected kindness, faith, and dignity. Her legacy lives on through the love she gave so freely and the memories she leaves behind.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, December 29th, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Church of the Assumption, located at 1401 Washington Ave., Waco, TX 76701. Burial will follow the Mass of Christian Burial at Waco Memorial Park. A meal will be held following the interment at Los Cucos Mexican Café, located at 2805 W. Loop 340, Waco, Texas 76712. Arrangements are under the care of Grace Gardens Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Temple, TX in honor of Linda’s memory.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered. May she rest in eternal peace.
