Martha Nail

Martha Ann Nail, 78, of Waco, passed away October 6, 2012 with her family by her side. She is now at peace, alongside her husband, Henry. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at Grace Gardens Funeral Home with Pastor Aaron Young officiating.

Ann was born May 8, 1934 in Little Rock, AR to Harry and Josephine Steele. Her family eventually moved to Memphis, TN where she graduated from Central High School and was a member of Tau Delta Sigma Sorority. She met and married the love of her life, Henry Livingston Nail on June 7, 1955. She was a wonderful homemaker and loving wife, mother, sister and friend to all who knew her. Ann was very loyal to her family and was an avid animal lover.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Harry & Josephine Steele, sister Marilyn Hanna; and husband, Henry Livingston Nail.

She is survived by her children, Tyran and husband Ricky Cook of San Antonio & Liz and husband Curt Liles of Crawford; a brother Joe Steele and wife Mary Yoe of Eads, TN; grandchildren Travis and Nicole Cook of San Antonio and Lauren, Carlie & Ross Liles of Crawford.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made in her memory to the Humane Society of Central Texas.
