Michael Andrew DiVenti, 53, of Hewitt, Texas, passed away on November 20, 2025. He was born in Brooklyn, New York, and came to Texas as soon as he could, quickly making it his true home.
Michael was known for his goofy, loving spirit and the genuine care he showed to everyone around him. He was a devoted father, a cherished son and brother, and a beloved uncle and “gruncle.” He brought laughter, warmth, and kindness wherever he went.
Michael worked as the general manager of an auto repair shop, where he was respected for his hard work and dedication. He loved traveling and enjoyed cowboy shooting, hobbies that reflected his adventurous and fun-loving nature.
He is survived by his father, Salvatore DiVenti; his mother, Carol DiVenti; his sister, Jeanne Baringer; his children, Connor and Colleen DiVenti; their mother, Vickie Reilly; his loving girlfriend, Alyce; and his devoted sidekick, Gunny. He is also remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and many treasured friends.
A celebration of Michael’s life will be 1:00pm, December 6, 2025, his birthday, at Grace Gardens, 8220 Woodway Dr., Woodway, TX 76712.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Toys for Tots, Mission Waco, or Fort Parker Patriots—organizations close to his heart.
