Monty Fulp

Monty R. Fulp Sr. age 68, of Crawford passed away on Tuesday September 18, 2012 at a local hospital with his family by his side. Funeral Services will be 11AM Saturday September 22, 2012 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6 to 8PM Friday September 21, 2012 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home.

Monty was born on June 22, 1944 in Waco to Emmette and Vesta Mae Fulp. He graduated from McGregor High School in 1962. Then attend Hill Junior College before entering the military. Monty was in the United States Army and served in the Vietnam War. He worked for McLennan County for thirty years as a heavy equipment operator for Precinct 1 and the 4. Monty was a member of the Crawford Masonic Lodge 585. He loved being with family, friends, farming and raising cattle.

He was preceded in death by parents, wife- Shirley, brothers- E.C. and Elmer Fulp.

Monty is survived by son- Monty Jr. of Crawford, daughter- Sherri LeBoeuf & husband Daryl of Speegleville, Mother-in-Law- Durine Otwell of Woodway, brother- W.D. Fulp & wife Martha of Crawford, 5 grandchildren and numerous nieces & nephews.

Pallbearers will be Joe Bob Smith, Marvin Hickey, Ray Dobbs, Daryl LeBoeuf, Chuck Isbel & Wayne Copeland.
