Nancy Emily Balch, born on December 19, 1937, in Tokio, Texas, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2025, in West, Texas. She was a devoted wife, caring sister, and cherished aunt, whose legacy of kindness and compassion will remain deeply etched in the hearts of those who knew her.
Nancy graduated from West High School in 1957, and continued her education at the National School of Business in Waco, where she honed her skills that would later serve her throughout her varied career. She worked as a clerk at Woody Jackson Chevrolet in McGregor and for William Cameron in Waco. Her professional journey also included serving as a card merchandiser for Hallmark, a role that allowed her to spread joy through every greeting card she shared.
In a beautiful union, Nancy married the love of her life, Billy Mack Balch, on July 22, 1960. Together, they created a warm and loving home in the West Waco area, fostering an environment filled with laughter and support. Nancy’s caring and kind nature left an indelible mark on all who were fortunate enough to cross her path.
She is survived by her sister, Barbara Robinson; sister-in-law, Peggy Davidson; and her beloved nephews, Jeffrey Don Clark, Ronald Eugene Davidson, Darren Ray Davidson, and Randy Bryant Davidson. These family members remember her not only for her unwavering love but also for her laughter and the light she brought into their lives.
Nancy is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Billy Mack Balch; her brother, Travis Davidson; her sister, Helen Davidson; and her nephew, Timothy Wayne Clark.
There will be a private entombment at Waco Memorial Park, honoring her life and the lasting impact she made. Nancy Emily Balch will be remembered for her gentle spirit and the love she embodied, leaving behind a legacy that will continue to inspire those who knew and loved her.
