Listen to Obituary

Nathan Wagner, a beloved father, grandfather, and devoted husband, left this world on August 13, 2025, in Waco, Texas, at the age of 51, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on June 24, 1974, he lived a life full of passion and commitment, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew him.

Nathan attended the University of Northern Colorado with aspirations in teaching. He was a skilled electrician, having spent his career at Summit Electric Supply. His intelligence was exemplified not only in his profession, but also in his wide array of interests. A lover of history, especially the narratives of wars, Nathan had a sharp mind and found joy in challenging himself with game shows. His passion wasn't confined to just his hobbies—he was a wonderful family man, he loved and prioritized his role of being a dad and grandfather.

Surviving Nathan are his loving wife, Crystal, and his children, Natalie and Lucas, and son-in-law Alex. His legacy will continue through his grandchildren, Zoeii and Jaxon, who will carry forward the warmth and kindness he instilled in them. He is lovingly remembered by his mother, Mary Jo Wagner, his brothers Jeff, Pete, Dan, and Matt, and his sister Gwen. He also leaves behind a cherished mother-in-law, Linda.

Nathan was preceded in death by his father, John Wagner, who will be welcoming him home with open arms.

A funeral service for Nathan will take place on August 30, 2025, at 2:00pm, at Grace Gardens.
