Listen to Obituary

Bruce Roliard, 73, of McGregor, Texas, passed away at his home on November 12, 2025.

He was born on January 20, 1952, in Waco, Texas. As a young man, Bruce was known as a talented athlete and a star baseball player for Waco High School. He graduated from Waco High and later completed some college coursework.

On March 8, 1975, Bruce married Denise Roliard at her grandparents’ home, beginning a marriage that lasted more than fifty years.

Bruce built a long and steady career as a carpet layer with Oriental Rug Company in Waco, where he worked for over twenty years. Later in his working life, he served as an independent contractor.

Bruce enjoyed life in simple, genuine ways. He loved listening to music, drinking a cold beer in his garage, spending time with family and friends, and watching sports. He was the kind of man who was happiest with good company and an easy evening.

He was preceded in death by his son, Dustin Roliard.

Survivors include his wife, Denise Roliard; his son, Troy Roliard; his grandchildren Makayla, Anthony, and Jordana Roliard; and his great-granddaughter, Jayda Williams. He is also survived by Gary and Jimmy Beam, Chris Hernandez, Otis Witt, and Tobi Dominguez , who will serve as pallbearers.

The Roliard family would like to give a special thank you to family friend Tobi Dominguez, his wife Michelle Dominguez, and their Aunt Angie Garcia.

Tobi, who has always been a friend to Bruce’s sons Dustin and Troy, truly holds a special place in our hearts. Even after Dustin passed away last year, he continued to show up for our family in every way he could. Through every hospital stay, every difficult moment, he was there offering support, waiting for hours with us, helping however we needed, and being a steady presence we could always rely on. His loyalty and compassion will never be forgotten.

Michelle, whose kindness and gentle care brought comfort during the hardest moments, even while studying to become a nurse, still made time to care for Bruce on hospice. Cleaning him, comforting him, coming late at night, and supporting our family with patience, love, and understanding.

Angie, who became Bruce’s caregiver during hospice—your heart and dedication were a true blessing. She went above and beyond caring for Bruce with tenderness, helping keep the home in order, supporting our grandmother with anything she needed. Bruce absolutely adored Angie and always spoke about how amazing she was. The love and dignity she provided in his final days will forever be cherished.

So thank you again, Tobi, Michelle, and Angie. Your support, compassion, and unwavering presence during this time meant more than words can ever express. Our family is forever thankful.
