Patricia Ann Schwarz

Patricia Ann McGee Schwarz passed away peacefully at home in Waco, Texas on Sunday, February 22, 2026. She was born on February 13, 1948, in Ponca City, Oklahoma, to Robert Vernon McGee and Margie Ruth Holloway McGee. She graduated from Sulphur High School in Louisiana, and completed a Bachelor of Education from McNeese State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She taught school for 28 years including a long tenure at Kendrick Elementary School in Waco.

She is survived by her husband of forty-three years, Steven Wayne Schwarz of Waco; son Steven Robert Schwarz and wife Kate and grandchildren Riley and Declan of Pennington, New Jersey; sister Katy Large and husband Robert of Sulphur, Louisiana; sister-in-law Bobbie Griggs of Waco and a standard poodle, Jake, whom she personally chose.
